The Bullets Cricket Grounds located at Powells and known as the Powells Playing Field is presently under the Management of the Bullets Softball Cricket Club.

CONFIRMATION OF AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO MANAGE A PUBLIC SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITY

This confirmation of an expression of interest, by the undersigned representatives of sports and recreational entities (Facilities Management Group), to manage select public sports and recreational facility is made on this 17th day of July, 2012 and witnessed by the Permanent Secretary and Director of Sports in the Ministry of Sports for and on behalf of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.
In signing this expression of interest, it is understood:
1. That the Government presently owns or controls certain parcels of real estate described and registered at the Land Registry and which are assigned for the purposes of sports and recreation and has the authority to contract for the management of said sports facility;
2. That registered Sports and Recreational Entities in good standing are invited to manage select public sports and recreational entities through a lease agreement the Ministry with responsibility for Sports on behalf of the Government; and
3. That the Government is willing to enter into an agreement to lease property to bona fide Facilities Management Groups in accordance with a Lease Agreement with the terms, covenants and conditions outlined as follows:

By signing of this expression of interest to manage the sports and recreational facility identified, I agree to review, withdraw my expression of interest or sign the SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITY MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT for said property on or before August 17, 2012. Until such time as the Management Agreement is signed or the deadline of August 17, 2012, whichever comes first, I understand that the entity I represent has provisional responsibility to manage the facility in good faith.
